From the 9th of July to the 16th of September 2018, Cordoba undertook a ten week artist residency at the Cotto Ceramic Studio in Lima, Peru. His aim throughout the residency was to expand upon and experiment with his ideas, utilizing a variety of new techniques and materials which he did he not readily have access to in Australia. During this time he produced a large array of new works utilizing liquid porcelain, a variation of different types of clay and different firing methods including the utilization of gas kilns and reduction firings. From 2019 onwards Cordoba has continued to experiment with and push his experimental practice further, most recently at Kil.n.it Experimental Ceramics Studio located in Glebe. Most Recently he was a Finalist in the 2024 GreenWay Art prize, running as part of Power Up Festival at the White Bay Power Station.
